2024年1-5月份，中石油、中石化累计在内蒙古鄂尔多斯市生产天然气143.45亿立方米，同比增加1.65%，共钻气井428眼，完成投资20.84亿元。其中，中石油生产天然气130.83亿立方米，钻气井378眼，完成投资11.80亿元；中石化生产天然气12.62亿立方米，钻气井50眼，建集气站0座，完成投资9.04亿元。外输天然气118.76亿立方米，同比增加０.03%。

2024年1-5月份，内蒙古鄂尔多斯市天然气用气量24.69亿立方米，同比增加10.27％。其中，鄂托克旗螺旋藻项目等一产用气0.15亿立方米、鄂尔多斯集团化肥和博源集团甲醇等化工项目用气3.84亿立方米、陶瓷等工业燃料用气0.72亿立方米、LNG用气17.20亿立方米、居民生活、供热、酒店和餐饮用气1.58亿立方米、汽车和公交车等交通用气1.20亿立方米。
