This course will provide an extensive two-day training on gas liquefaction technology, including LNG characteristics and safety, LNG plant overview, gas pretreatment, liquefaction process design and characteristics, equipment characteristics (cryogenic heat exchangers, compressors/rotating equipment), start-up issues, operation and troubleshooting. The purpose of this training is to give a good overview of processes, systems, and equipment, enabling the participants to understand the key principles of natural gas liquefaction technology in relation to engineering and operation. It will also provide a description of the various liquefaction process cycles and how fundamental engineering principles are used to develop an optimized process for specific project requirements.
This training course will be organized in collaboration with Air Products Company & Chiyoda Corporation.
