6月26日，由广西能源集团、柳州产业集团合资设立的广西页岩气勘探开发有限公司在柳州市揭牌成立，这是广西首家从事页岩气勘探开发的公司，将推动广西页岩气勘探开发和商业运营驶入快车道。

据统计，广西页岩气技术可采资源量1.02万亿立方米，排名全国第六。去年12月，广西首个页岩气开发示范项目柳城北页岩气开发项目在柳州成功出气点火，天然气质量达到国家一类天然气标准，实现了国内石炭系页岩气勘探开发、广西页岩气勘探开发零的突破。2024年1月，广西首个页岩气开发示范项目顺利实现商业销售，为柳州市工业企业提供高品质天然气，助推企业降本增效。目前，广西首个页岩气开发示范项目日产气量约8000方。

广西页岩气勘探开发公司主要经营范围包括陆地石油天然气开采、矿产资源勘查、燃气经营等内容，将统筹推进广西首批页岩气区块的勘探开发和运营，推动广西页岩气增储上产，助力构建新型能源体系。

According to statistics, the technical recoverable resources of shale gas in Guangxi are 1.02 trillion cubic meters, ranking sixth in the country. In December last year, Liucheng North shale Gas Development project, the first shale gas development demonstration project in Guangxi, successfully fired gas in Liuzhou, and the quality of natural gas reached the national first-class natural gas standards, achieving a breakthrough in domestic carboniferous shale gas exploration and development and Guangxi shale gas exploration and development. In January 2024, the first shale gas development demonstration project in Guangxi successfully achieved commercial sales, providing high-quality natural gas for industrial enterprises in Liuzhou City, helping enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency. At present, the first shale gas development demonstration project in Guangxi has a daily gas output of about 8,000 square meters.

Guangxi Shale Gas Exploration and Development Company's main business scope includes onshore oil and gas exploitation, mineral resource exploration, gas operation, etc. It will coordinate and promote the exploration, development and operation of the first batch of shale gas blocks in Guangxi, promote the increase of shale gas storage and production in Guangxi, and help build a new energy system.
