当地时间6月18日，中国电建与马来西亚砂拉越石油电力公司在古晋正式签订马来西亚美里500兆瓦联合循环燃气电站项目总承包合同。砂拉越石油电力公司首席运营官詹姆斯·傅、副总裁克尼·恩瑙，公司副总经理兼亚太区域总部总经理周家义，水电八局党委书记、董事长姜清华，亚太区域总部副总经理叶浩亮出席签约仪式。

中国电建自1993年进入马来西亚市场以来，已累计承建150余项工程，合同总额超70亿美元。公司在马来西亚承建的巴贡水电站、沐若水电站、凯德隆联合循环燃气电站、500千伏输变电线路等标志性项目为促进中马经贸合作、推动马来西亚经济社会发展发挥了重要作用。

美里燃气电站项目位于马来西亚砂拉越州美里市，总装机500兆瓦，由砂拉越石油电力公司开发。主要工作范围包括电站设计、采购、施工及调试、试运行等工作。项目建成后，将显著提升砂拉越州的清洁能源利用水平，为当地提供绿色稳定的电力供应，助力马来西亚经济社会实现可持续发展。

On June 18, local time, PowerChina and Malaysia's Sarawak Petroleum Power Company officially signed the general contract for Malaysia's Miri 500 MW combined cycle gas power plant project in Kuching. Sarawak Petroleum & Power Company Chief Operating Officer James Fu, Vice President Keni Ennau, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters Zhou Jiayi, Party Secretary and Chairman Jiang Qinghua, and Deputy general manager of Asia Pacific Regional Headquarters Ye Haoliang attended the signing ceremony.

Since entering the Malaysian market in 1993, PowerChina has undertaken more than 150 projects with a total contract value of over 7 billion US dollars. The landmark projects undertaken by the company in Malaysia, such as Bagong Hydropower Station, Muro Hydropower Station, Kedelong Combined Cycle gas power Station and 500 kV transmission and transformation line, have played an important role in promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Malaysia and promoting the economic and social development of Malaysia.

Miri Gas Power Plant project is located in Miri City, Sarawak state, Malaysia, with a total installed capacity of 500 MW, developed by Sarawak Petroleum Power Company. The main scope of work includes power plant design, procurement, construction and commissioning, trial operation and other work. After the completion of the project, it will significantly improve the level of clean energy utilization in Sarawak, provide local green and stable power supply, and help Malaysia achieve sustainable economic and social development.
