廉江核电龙门吊为双主梁、大吨位、大跨度门式起重机，跨距121米，最大起吊能力达1600吨，净提升高度达103米。首次提升工作自7月27日开始，历时近10天，整体提升重量3523吨，提升高度117米，整个过程平稳有序。

为保证提升工作有序开展，湛江核电协同和运监理、上海核工院、国核机械、国核运行、振华重工等单位，戮力同心，直面挑战，成立龙门吊可用联合党员先锋队、龙门吊提升党员突击队、青年突击队等，组建安全专班、质量专班、夜班巡查队，对塔架缆风锚点及塔架基础实施全时段监护检查，克服提升期间台风和连续多日降雨等不利因素，顺利完成龙门吊四个阶段提升工作。

后续，湛江核电将坚决扛起核安全责任，高质量高标准开展行走机构调整、合拢口焊接、载荷试验等关键工作，有力保障龙门吊按期可用。
