6月28日，荆门市东宝区南片区污水处理厂二期扩建项目提前通水。东宝区委副书记、区长董勇，中国能建葛洲坝生态环保公司党委副书记、总经理沈远持出席仪式并致辞。

该项目是荆门市民生工程，由中国能建葛洲坝生态环保公司投资建设运营，投资约1.17亿元，建设期2年，扩建规模2.5万吨/日，采用“细格栅及旋流沉砂池+一体化生物池+高效沉淀池+V形滤池+紫外消毒渠”的污水处理工艺，出水水质达到湖北省汉江中下游流域污水综合排放标准。

董勇指出，南片区污水处理厂二期扩建工程通水是政企合作的又一次成功实践。希望中国能建葛洲坝生态环保公司全力提高污水处理效率和净化能力，加强污水收集、储存、排放设备管理，做好污水处理厂的运维工作，确保安全、稳定、优质、高效，为人居环境和经济发展提供更好的水服务、水支持、水保障。

沈远持表示，葛洲坝生态环保公司将始终如一扎根荆门、赋能荆门、发展荆门，提升污水处理技术水平，优化运营管理，加大投资建设力度，加速打造央地合作新样板，为荆门市经济社会高质量发展，贡献葛洲坝生态环保智慧与力量。

June 28, Jingmen City Dongbao District South area sewage treatment plant phase II expansion project ahead of the water. The project is the Jingmen People's livelihood project, which is invested and operated by China Energy Construction Gezhouba Ecological Environmental Protection Company, with an investment of about 117m yuan. The construction period is 2 years, and the expansion scale is 25,000 tons/day. The sewage treatment process of "fine grid and swirling sand sedimentation tank + integrated biological tank + high-efficiency sedimentation tank + V-shaped filter tank + ultraviolet disinfection channel" is adopted. The effluent quality reached the comprehensive sewage discharge standard of the middle and lower reaches of Hanjiang River basin in Hubei Province.

Dong Yong pointed out that the water supply of the second phase expansion project of the sewage treatment plant in the South Area is another successful practice of government-enterprise cooperation. It is hoped that China can build Gezhouba Ecological environmental Protection Company to improve the efficiency and purification capacity of sewage treatment, strengthen the management of sewage collection, storage and discharge equipment, do a good job in the operation and maintenance of sewage treatment plants, ensure safety, stability, quality and efficiency, and provide better water services, water support and water security for the living environment and economic development.
