东萨宏水电站位于老挝南部占巴塞省，总装机325兆瓦。项目由中国电建负责设计与施工，一期装配4台单机65兆瓦贯流式水电机组，是亚洲单机容量最大、世界第二大的灯泡贯流式机组。自2019年投运以来，机组年利用小时数近8000个小时，是老挝利用小时数最高的水电站，经济效益显著。

2021年11月，出于对中国电建品牌质量的充分认可，项目业主再次选择中国电建承担扩机工程的设计施工。扩机工程主要工作内容是在大坝右岸扩建发电厂房，装配一台65兆瓦水电机组。中国电建项目团队坚持精工良建，经过两年多的连续奋战，高效推进项目建设，以优质的履约表现赢得了政府、业主及社会各界的高度评价。

东萨宏水电站项目及扩机工程在建设过程中，先后荣获2022-2023年度国家优质工程奖、2021年陕西省建设工程长安杯奖、2021年中国电建优质工程奖、省部级优秀设计奖3项、省部级科学技术进步奖1项、省部级工法3项、国家专利7项、省部级QC成果4项等众多奖项和荣誉。

The East Sahong Hydropower Station is located in Champasay Province in southern Laos, with a total installed capacity of 325 MW. The project is designed and constructed by Power Construction of China. The first phase of the project will be equipped with four 65-megawatt tubular hydroelectric units, which is the largest single capacity of bulb tubular hydroelectric units in Asia and the second largest in the world. Since it was put into operation in 2019, the annual utilization hours of the unit have been nearly 8,000 hours, which is the highest utilization hours of the hydropower station in Laos, and the economic benefits are remarkable.

In November 2021, due to the full recognition of the brand quality of PowerChina, the project owner once again chose PowerChina to undertake the design and construction of the expansion project. The main work of the expansion project is to expand the power plant on the right bank of the dam and assemble a 65 MW hydropower unit. The project team of Power China Construction insists on good construction, and after more than two years of continuous fighting, efficient promotion of project construction, and high quality performance has won high praise from the government, owners and all sectors of society.

In the construction process of Dongsahong Hydropower Station project and expansion project, It has won many awards and honors such as 2022-2023 National Quality Engineering Award, 2021 Shaanxi Province Construction Project Chang 'an Cup Award, 2021 China Power Construction Quality Engineering Award, 3 provincial and ministerial Excellent Design Awards, 1 provincial and ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award, 3 provincial and ministerial construction methods, 7 national patents, and 4 provincial and ministerial QC achievements.
