2023年5月30日，塔克拉干沙漠腹地传来一声鸣笛，深地塔科1井正式开钻，我国深地钻探开启“万米时代”。2024年3月4日，深地塔科1井成功钻至10000米，一举刷新亚洲最深直井纪录，让世界深井之林，从此有了“中国深度”。

因深而生，向难而行。2023年5月，塔里木油田联合西部钻探、宝石机械、工程院、勘探院、材料院等多家单位组建中国石油万米深井攻坚团队。在集团公司党组的领导下，团队立足深地科技自立自强，成功攻克井身结构设计、超负荷钻探工具、复杂硬质地层破岩、耐超高温流体及井下工具等一系列世界级难题，刷新多项纪录，顺利突破万米大关，使该井成为世界陆上第二口、亚洲第一口垂直深度超万米井，为中国石油打造深地品牌、掌握深地话语体系奠定了坚实基础。

志不求易者成，事不避难者进。深地塔科1井一头连着“万米地宫”，一头连着数万人的辛勤奉献。从前期勘探，到井位确定；从钻机设计，到井场搭建；从万米攻坚，到下一步取芯探秘，团队承载着几代石油人的梦想、百万石油人的追求，大力发扬石油精神和大庆精神铁人精神，征战死亡之海，挑战生命禁区，在万众的期许下，圆满完成了万米科探井的阶段钻探任务。
