渤海油田始建于1965年，是我国海洋石油工业的发源地，也是中国海域目前产量最高、规模最大、效益最好的主力油田，现已建成50余个在生产油气田、200余座生产设施，累产油气当量超5亿吨。

有限天津分公司副总经理张春生介绍，10万吨原油约占全国原油日产量的六分之一，可满足千万级人口城市一周的使用需求，对保障国家能源安全、推动国民经济发展、满足人民生活需要具有重要作用。

渤海油田地处渤海湾盆地，油气资源丰富，但地质构造复杂，像是一只摔碎了又被踩上几脚的“金盘子”，油藏分布十分零散，勘探开发难度大，勘探理论的创新和开发技术的进步对于油田增储上产具有重要意义。

面对勘探难题，渤海油田在勘探理论和技术方面持续突破和进步，创新渤海湾油型盆地大型天然气田勘探理论、渤海浅层大型岩性油藏成藏理论及渤海伸展-走滑复合断裂带深部油气勘探理论等认识，五年内连续勘探发现了渤中19-6、垦利10-2、秦皇岛27-3等6个亿吨级油气田，新增探明地质储量超10亿吨油当量，为我国渤海油气产量稳定增长奠定了基础。

Bohai Oilfield, founded in 1965, is the birthplace of China's offshore oil industry and the main oil field with the highest output, the largest scale and the best benefits in Chinese waters. It has built more than 50 oil and gas fields in production and more than 200 production facilities, with a cumulative oil and gas equivalent of more than 500 million tons.

According to Zhang Chunsheng, deputy general manager of Tianjin Branch, 100,000 tons of crude oil accounts for about one-sixth of the national daily output of crude oil, which can meet the use needs of cities with tens of millions of population for a week, and plays an important role in ensuring national energy security, promoting national economic development and meeting the needs of people's lives.

Bohai Oilfield is located in Bohai Bay Basin, rich in oil and gas resources, but the geological structure is complex, like a broken and stepped on a "golden plate", the distribution of oil reservoirs is very scattered, exploration and development is difficult, exploration theory innovation and development technology progress is of great significance to increase oil reserves and production.

In the face of exploration problems, Bohai Oilfield has made continuous breakthroughs and progress in exploration theory and technology, and innovated the exploration theory of large natural gas fields in Bohai Bay oil-type basin, the reservoir formation theory of large shallow lithologic reservoirs in Bohai Sea, and the deep oil and gas exploration theory of Bohai extension-strike-slip composite fault zone. In the past five years, 600 million ton oil and gas fields such as Bozhong 19-6, Kenli 10-2 and Qinhuangdao 27-3 have been discovered in continuous exploration, and the newly proved geological reserves have exceeded 1 billion tons of oil equivalent, laying the foundation for the steady growth of oil and gas production in China's Bohai Sea.
