在大西洋理事会区域清洁与安全能源会议上，巴伊拉克塔尔部长详细阐述了土耳其的能源转型战略及天然气的重要性。他强调，土耳其作为欧洲关键天然气市场的地位，得益于其对区域能源稳定的重大贡献，并明确表示土耳其现在和未来都将致力于在此领域进行投资。

此外，巴伊拉克塔尔部长还指出，土耳其在可再生能源领域也取得了显著成就，目前排名欧洲第五、全球第十一。他宣布了土耳其到2053年实现净零排放的目标，并指出可再生能源是实现这一目标的最具潜力的领域。土耳其计划在此期间每年增加5000兆瓦的新太阳能和风能容量。

为确保天然气供应安全，土耳其已采取多项措施，包括扩大气化终端容量和地下储存设施。作为液化天然气（LNG）供应的关键参与者，土耳其自2020年在黑海发现大型气田后，已设定了每年75亿立方米的天然气生产目标。

在区域合作方面，巴伊拉克塔尔部长强调了增强与希腊和保加利亚现有管道运输能力的重要性，以增加向东南欧国家的天然气出口。他重申了土耳其对加强能源供应安全区域合作的承诺。

为实现能源效率目标，土耳其计划到2040年实现260亿美元的能源节约。巴伊拉克塔尔部长强调了公私合作在实现这一宏伟目标中的重要性，并表示土耳其将与公共和私营部门携手合作。

Speaking at the Atlantic Council's Regional Clean and Secure Energy Conference, Minister Bakiraqtal elaborated on Turkey's energy transition strategy and the importance of natural gas. He stressed Turkey's position as a key gas market in Europe thanks to its significant contribution to regional energy stability and made it clear that Turkey is committed to investing in this sector now and in the future.

In addition, the minister noted that Turkey has also made significant achievements in the field of renewable energy, currently ranking fifth in Europe and 11th in the world. He announced Turkey's goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2053, pointing to renewable energy as the area with the most potential to achieve this goal. Turkey plans to add 5,000 megawatts of new solar and wind capacity per year during this period.

To ensure gas supply security, Turkey has taken several measures, including expanding gasification terminal capacity and underground storage facilities. Turkey, a key player in the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG), has set a gas production target of 7.5 billion cubic meters per year since the discovery of a large gas field in the Black Sea in 2020.

In terms of regional cooperation, the Minister stressed the importance of enhancing the existing pipeline transport capacity with Greece and Bulgaria to increase gas exports to Southeast European countries. He reiterated Turkey's commitment to strengthening regional cooperation on the security of energy supplies.
