天色渐暗，苏里南塔帕纳霍尼河南岸的波埃凯蒂村里亮起一盏盏温暖的路灯，照亮村陌小径。晚饭后，上了年纪的村民们围坐在村头广场的路灯下聊着由中企承建的微电网光伏项目。孩子们在家里明亮的灯光下做着功课。

     In the village of Boekatei, on the southern bank of the Tapanahoni River in Suriname, warm street lamps light up the village path. After dinner, elderly villagers sit under street lights in the village square and chat about microgrid photovoltaic projects undertaken by Chinese companies. The children were doing their homework in the bright light of the house.

　　波埃凯蒂村离苏里南首都帕拉马里博200多公里，由于地处雨林深处，道路崎岖、交通闭塞，从首都出发需要驱车2个多小时，再换乘木船逆流而上穿越激流险滩才能到达。因位置偏远，波埃凯蒂村至今无法接入苏里南国家统一电网，一直缺乏稳定的电力供应。在中国电建集团江西省电力建设有限公司（以下简称“江西电建”）承建的微电网光伏项目落成前，村民们常年饱受用电难的困扰。

      Boekatei village is more than 200 kilometers from the capital of Suriname, Paramaribo, because it is located in the deep rain forest, the road is rugged, the traffic is blocked, and it takes more than 2 hours to drive from the capital, and then change the wooden boat upstream through the rapidland to reach. Due to its remote location, Boecketty Village has so far been unable to access Suriname's unified national grid, and has been lacking a stable power supply. Before the completion of the microgrid photovoltaic project undertaken by China Power Construction Group Jiangxi Power Construction Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangxi Power Construction"), villagers were plagued by electricity difficulties for years.

　　“村里以前主要依靠几台柴油发电机，每晚只能供应几小时的电，拥有稳定的电力供应也就成了我们的梦想。”波埃凯蒂村村长苏赫介绍，“每当遇到暴雨或干旱导致柴油没法通过水路及时运进村，村里就会断电，村民们的生活也因此变得愈发艰难。到了晚上，没有灯光的小路一片漆黑，村民们出行需要格外小心，孩子们也没法写作业。中企的到来，让我们拥有稳定电力供应的梦想变成了现实！”

     "The village used to rely mainly on a few diesel generators, which could only provide electricity for a few hours a night. Having a stable electricity supply has become our dream." Boekatei village head Suh said, "Whenever heavy rain or drought causes diesel to be unable to be transported into the village by water in time, the village will lose power, and the life of the villagers has become more difficult." At night, the unlit path is dark, villagers need to travel with extra caution, and children can't do their homework. The arrival of Chinese companies has made our dream of having a stable power supply a reality!"

　　2019年9月，江西电建与苏里南自然资源部签订苏里南村庄微电网光伏一期项目承建合同，为苏里南河沿岸无电地区提供持续可靠的电力供应。项目正式投产运行，获得当地社会各界的高度评价。

     In September 2019, Jiangxi Power Construction and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Suriname signed a contract to build the first phase of the Suriname Village Microgrid Photovoltaic project to provide continuous and reliable power supply to the non-electricity areas along the Suriname River. The project was officially put into operation and was highly praised by the local community.

　　一期项目的良好履约，促成了二期项目在2021年7月顺利签约。苏里南村庄微电网光伏二期项目管理人员熊泽坤介绍，二期项目一共5个站点，将为40个村庄供应电力，惠及约1.5万村民。今年移交的第一站点就设在波埃凯蒂村（见图，江西电建供图）。项目延续并优化了一期的设计理念，根据当地实际情况设计了模块化的微型电网混合系统供电等一揽子解决方案，通过光伏发电系统、柴油发电系统、储能系统相连组成的互补系统，降低成本的同时保证系统的稳定性，实现24小时不间断供电。

     The good performance of the first phase of the project contributed to the smooth signing of the second phase of the project in July 2021. Xiong Zekun, manager of the Suriname Village microgrid photovoltaic Phase II project, said that the second phase of the project has a total of 5 stations, which will supply electricity to 40 villages, benefiting about 15,000 villagers. The first site to be transferred this year is located in Boekatei village (see picture, provided by Jiangxi Power Construction). The project continued and optimized the design concept of the first phase, and designed a package solution such as modular micro-grid hybrid system power supply according to the actual local situation. Through the complementary system composed of photovoltaic power generation system, diesel power generation system and energy storage system, the cost was reduced while ensuring the stability of the system and achieving 24-hour uninterrupted power supply.

　　“低碳环保是我们项目的特色之一。”熊泽坤介绍，二期项目第一站点建设了一座装机容量为1.2兆瓦的光伏电站，能够为周边16个村庄提供清洁电力。为解决项目运维人员能力不足的问题，中方项目部积极推动当地员工参加技术培训。参加培训的亨利说：“通过技术培训和经验分享，我逐渐掌握了光伏发电和微电网系统的运行维护技术，还积累了项目管理经验。如果考核合格，走上管理岗位，将为我的家庭带来更可观的收入。”

  "Low-carbon environmental protection is one of the features of our project." Xiong Zekun introduced that the first site of the second phase of the project has built a photovoltaic power station with an installed capacity of 1.2 megawatts, which can provide clean electricity for 16 surrounding villages. In order to solve the problem of insufficient capacity of project operation and maintenance personnel, the Chinese project department actively promotes local employees to participate in technical training. Henry, who participated in the training, said: "Through technical training and experience sharing, I gradually mastered the operation and maintenance technology of photovoltaic power generation and microgrid systems, and also accumulated project management experience." If I pass the test and enter a management position, I will bring more income to my family."

　　微电网光伏项目的投入使用还给波埃凯蒂村的旅游业带来了发展机遇。“我们这里自然环境优美，就是因为经常没电，让想来这里旅游的人望而却步。”当地一家旅馆负责人卡罗兴奋地说，“自从有了稳定供电，来的游客越来越多，旅馆的生意也日益红火起来，村民们的生活也越来越好。”

     The use of the microgrid photovoltaic project has also brought development opportunities for the tourism industry in Boecketty Village. "We have a beautiful natural environment here, but it is because there is often no electricity that people who want to travel here are discouraged." "Since we have a stable power supply, more and more tourists are coming, the business of the hotel is booming, and the life of the villagers is getting better and better," said Carlo, the head of a local hotel.

　　在二期项目第一站点移交仪式上，苏里南总统单多吉高度赞赏中国建设者付出的努力和取得的成果，指出该项目的顺利移交将为苏里南村庄带来更加稳定和可靠的电力供应，极大改善村民们的生活质量，促进当地经济发展。

     At the handover ceremony of the first site of the second phase of the project, Surinamese President Shan Dorjee highly appreciated the efforts and achievements made by the Chinese builders, pointing out that the smooth handover of the project will bring more stable and reliable power supply to Surinamese villages, greatly improve the quality of life of villagers and promote local economic development.

　　中国前驻苏里南大使韩镜表示，这不仅是一个电力项目的顺利移交，更是中苏友谊的象征，标志着中苏两国在新能源领域的合作迈出坚实的一步。希望中国企业能够继续发挥资源、技术优势，加快推进项目实施，为苏里南人民带来更多福祉，为苏里南能源行业发展贡献智慧和力量。

     Han Jing, former Chinese ambassador to Suriname, said that this is not only a smooth transfer of a power project, but also a symbol of China-Soviet friendship, marking a solid step forward in the cooperation between the two countries in the field of new energy. It is hoped that Chinese enterprises can continue to give full play to their advantages in resources and technology, accelerate the implementation of projects, bring more benefits to the people of Suriname and contribute wisdom and strength to the development of the energy industry in Suriname.
