6月18日，天然气分公司参股的首个燃气发电项目正式开工，项目由该单位合资公司——国能（浙江安吉）发电公司承建，将新建2套9H级燃气－蒸汽联合循环发电机组，总装机容量163.4万千瓦，是目前世界上功率最大、效率最高的燃气轮机项目，也是中国石化首个参股的燃气发电项目。

燃气发电具有排放低、能效高、调峰能力强等特点，在迎峰度夏电力保供期间能起到良好的顶峰兜底支撑作用。天然气分公司所属单位浙江销售中心与国能浙江分公司今年4月至5月先后正式签订合作协议、组建合资公司，共同加快燃气发电项目建设，进一步拓展中国石化天然气发电业务。

据悉，项目一期和二期机组将于2025年11月和12月先后投产，满负荷年用气量约12亿立方米，年可发电70亿千瓦时，能够满足约600万居民一年的生活用电。建成后，将进一步满足浙北地区支撑性电源需求，提升浙江省电力系统调峰能力，为优化地区能源资源配置发挥重要作用。

On June 18, the first gas-fired power generation project participated by the Natural Gas Branch officially started. The project is undertaken by the joint venture company of the unit - Guoneng (Zhejiang Anji) Power Generation Company. It will build two sets of 9H-class gas-steam combined cycle generator sets with a total installed capacity of 1.634 million kilowatts, which is currently the largest power and highest efficiency gas turbine project in the world. It is also the first gas-fired power generation project in which Sinopec has a stake.

Gas-fired power generation has the characteristics of low emission, high energy efficiency and strong peak-load capacity, and can play a good role in peak support during the kurtosis summer power supply. From April to May this year, Zhejiang Sales Center, the unit of the natural gas Branch, and Guoneng Zhejiang Branch officially signed a cooperation agreement and established a joint venture to jointly accelerate the construction of gas power generation projects and further expand Sinopec's natural gas power generation business.

It is reported that the first and second phase of the project will be put into operation in November and December 2025, with annual gas consumption of about 1.2 billion cubic meters at full load and annual electricity generation of 7 billion KWH, which can meet the domestic electricity consumption of about 6 million residents for a year. After completion, it will further meet the demand for supporting power supply in northern Zhejiang Province, improve the peak load capacity of the power system in Zhejiang Province, and play an important role in optimizing regional energy resource allocation.
