3月28日，国网新源辽宁清原抽水蓄能电站2号机组投产发电。

电站位于辽宁省抚顺市清原满族自治县北三家镇境内，由北京院牵头，水电六局、水电八局组成EPC总承包联合体进行建设，是东北地区最大的抽水蓄能电站，是国家“十三五”期间重点工程、新一轮国家振兴东北老工业基地139个重大项目之一，也是国内首个百万千瓦级包含设计、施工、采购完整产业链的EPC总承包抽水蓄能建设试点项目。

电站总装机容量180万千瓦，设计年发电量30亿千瓦时，年抽水电量40亿千瓦时，工程总投资109亿元。电站建成后并入辽宁电网，将作为重要“调节器”“稳压器”和“电力粮仓”，被誉为“超级充电宝”，在电网中承担调峰、填谷、调频、调相和紧急事故备用等任务，并具备黑启动能力。

据悉，电站剩余4台机组的机电安装工作正在繁忙推进中，预计2025年3月，6台机组全部投产发电，将有力推动东北地区能源清洁低碳高效利用，助力东北全面振兴。

On March 28, the No. 2 unit of State Grid Xinyuan pumped Storage Power Station in Liaoning Province was put into operation to generate electricity.

The power station is located in Beisanjia Town, Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. Led by Beijing Institute, Hydropower Bureau No. 6 and Hydropower Bureau No. 8 formed an EPC general contracting consortium for construction. It is the largest pumped storage power station in Northeast China, and one of the 139 major projects during the national "13th Five-Year Plan" period and the new round of national revitalization of the old industrial base in Northeast China. It is also the first pilot project of pumped storage construction with EPC general contracting at the mega kilowatt level, including design, construction and procurement of the complete industrial chain.

The total installed capacity of the power station is 1.8 million kW, the designed annual generating capacity is 3 billion KWH, the annual pumped electricity is 4 billion KWH, and the total investment of the project is 10.9 billion yuan. After the completion of the power station into the Liaoning power grid, will be an important "regulator", "regulator" and "power granary", known as "super charging treasure", in the power grid to undertake peak load, valley filling, frequency modulation, phase modulation and emergency backup tasks, and have black start capability.

It is reported that the mechanical and electrical installation of the remaining four units of the power station is busy, and it is expected that in March 2025, the six units will be put into operation to generate electricity, which will effectively promote the clean, low-carbon and efficient use of energy in the Northeast and help the comprehensive revitalization of the northeast.
