自投产发电以来，该电站积极践行集团公司“一个目标、三个作用、六个担当”发展战略和“41663”总体工作方针，牢固树立“度电必争，度电必抢”理念，全力以赴抢发电量。强化生产调度管理，加强设备管理，确保隐患问题早发现、早处置，保障设备安全稳定运行；加大巡检巡查力度，分区域加强巡回检查，尤其是对重点区域、重点部位、重点设备加强巡检，特别是在汛期，结合水情信息，做好相应应急处置，保障机组时刻处于最佳运行状态，全力以赴确保迎峰度夏能源保供万无一失；推进隐患排查治理，细化优化调整参数，合理安排设备消缺，对现场发现的隐患和异常第一时间联系处理，针对易发频发故障，细致查找问题根源对症施策，不断提升机组可靠性。

与此同时，玛尔挡水电站运行人员时刻关注水位变化，积极与黄委交流信息，及时掌握水情信息，预估来水量，并与省调沟通协调，调整负荷，力争机组满负荷运行或者按最优工况运行，以创造出更好的发电效益。
